Some Helpful Culinary Tools

There are a few inexpensive items that are super helpul for bachelor food prep:

Electric Skillet: This cannot be overstated. Why make eggs or pancakes one at a time when you can literally crank out six pancakes in 5 minutes after making the batter? Plus, if you coat it with coconut oil (said to be antibacterial and anti-fungal) you don't necessarily have to wash it every time...

Toaster oven: aka "pizza oven," but if you want to make a pizza with it you'll have to break it in half and cook it that way (which works just fine). This is not only faster because preheating is not required, but it's obviously a whole lot more energy efficient for smaller items that a full size oven as well. I use it all the time for cooking pork loin, chicken breasts, etc.

Crock Pot: This may seem fancier than your average bacheolor makes time for... but do not be deceived. You just chop stuff up, mix it up, and let this work its magic for a few hours.

Slap Chopper: I don't know why more people don't use these. If you're making guac and need to chop tomatoes, garlic, and cilantro it would take forever without an efficient way to do it like this. Throw the item into the container, slap the crap out of it, and it will be finely diced.

Water boiler thing: You could wait ten minutes to boil water in a pot... but use this and see a watched pot boil in one minute.
